What are TEREA tobacco sticks? 

TEREA tobacco sticks made exclusively for IQOS ILUMA. The SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM™ technology provides continuously intense tobacco vapor and stick-by-stick consistency. The new bladeless technology takes tobacco heating to a whole new experience. 

IQOS heated tobacco technology 

The SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM™ heats the tobacco from within the TEREA stick, so your tobacco is heated not burned for an altogether consistent and cleaner tobacco experience. 

What do TEREA sticks contain? 

The heart of the new bladeless SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM™ technology is a metal heating element placed inside the TEREA stick and coated with stainless steel for seamless heating of the tobacco. 

Are TEREA compatible with IQOS 3? 

Both ends of TEREA tobacco sticks are closed and have a heating element part therefore they are not compatible with IQOS 3 DUO or any earlier blade generation devices. Using a TEREA stick in a device with blade heating technology may damage the blade. At the same time the IQOS ILUMA holder will not heat the tobacco in HEETS due to a different heating principle. Therefore, most HEETS variants, which were designed for previous generation IQOS devices, are also available in TEREA version for the new IQOS ILUMA devices. 

IQOS ILUMA devices are designed to be used with TEREA sticks only. Do not use IQOS ILUMA and/or TEREA with previous IQOS generations, as this may damage your device.
