What are component inside HEETS and generally, what does HEETS consist of?

HEETS Heated tobacco sticks are specially designed to be used with IQOS™
What you experience with HEETS™ is the taste of a real tobacco, which is heated, but not burned

All HEETS Variants available on Georgian market have the same structure as described below. Among them is HEETS Russet, which is available from March 16th.

HEETS consist of tobacco and non-tobacco parts:

Tobacco part:

  • Tobacco is carefully selected, finely ground, and specially designed for heating.

 Non-tobacco part:

  • Cooling plug

(previously called “PLA filter”) - designed to cool down the aerosol before inhaling: This is the part commonly referred to as plastic, but in reality it is made of corn-based material in a form of a biopolymer film and is biodegradable. This material widely used in Medical, Food and drink industries; for example, teabags and other items of everyday use. No harmful substances released from biopolymer film during the use of IQOS were identified
  • Protective Wrap

    – We always try to improve IQOS usage experience in innovative ways, therefore we are changing the tobacco protective wrap to a single layer of paper instead of multiple layers of paper and aluminum. The wrapping holds the tobacco part together in one place. It also helps to heat tobacco, not burn it and helps to deliver consistent taste experience. To join all the parts of the HEETS stick we also have an outer paper wrap which has remained unchanged.
  • Filter

    - Similar to the mouthpiece filter of a cigarette. Made of cellulose acetate.
  • Air flow chamber

     - Designed to hold the tobacco plug in place and transfer the aerosol to the cooling plug. Made of cellulose acetate (similar to filter)
